Pep talk on the beams

Some inspirational quotes by famous sports people have been painted on the concrete beams going into the Community Centre's sports hall, writes the Centre's Enda O'Neill. 

The quotes were inscribed local woman by Niamh O'Connor and are there to hopefully inspire (or calm nerves!) local home teams such as Larrie Birds, Kilcullen Badminton Club or Kildare Volleyball Club before they play their league or cup matches.

The initiative ties in nicely with our local club jerseys, celebrating our Olympians and our Internationals wall.
