Funds raised by Talented Kids handed to Clare's Wish

A cheque for €6,475.61 was handed over to the Clare's Wish Foundation last Saturday by students of the Kilcullen-based Talented Kids Performing Arts School, writes Brian Byrne
The charity helps to fulfil wishes for adults with terminal medical conditions and was founded by Kevin Clancy in memory of his late sister and father.
The students raised the money through sponsorship cards, and handed them in during PJ days held on 22/23 March. "The donations are still coming in, and we're blown away to be able to raise the money for such a worthwhile cause," says the school's owner Maureen V Ward.
The handover was in Kilcullen Community Centre where the school classes are held.
