Thanks for Jeremy Burke fundraiser

Thank you to my wonderful friend and neighbour Orla Douglas-King who celebrated her 50th birthday recently and had a fundraiser in memory of our beautiful Jeremy, writes Louise Kelly. Orla’s endeavour raised a whopping €3,402.30. 

It was a bittersweet night so near to Jeremy’s 1st anniversary but the most wonderful thing to witness and I am so thankful to have had the strength to be there. This money will go a long way to helping some CPC students further their musical careers as well as supporting charities close to our hearts. 

A word of thanks to the following to Cllr Chris Pender for volunteering his time and reducing the cost of hiring the venue.

And, of course, Orla herself and husband Mick for their ongoing kindness, support and selflessness.
