Shamrocks celebrate

A great start to St Patrick's Day for the South Kildare Shamrocks under-14 hurling team, with a decisive win over Celbridge, writes Martin Sheridan. Final score Shamrocks 3-9 Celbridge 0-3.

It'a great to be back hurling again in 2024 — that was the general feeling of the lads following their win. 

A great effort in the first half and a strong ten minutes just after half time against the wind was the key to the Shamrocks well deserved win.
