Kilcullen GAA celebration for the 'two Mollys'

Kilcullen GAA last evening celebrated the participation of club members Molly Aspell and Molly O'Loughlin on the panel of the winning Kildare Ladies Intermediate All-Ireland football team in August, writes Brian Byrne.
Welcoming a large turnout to the 'meet and greet' in the clubhouse, club chairman Dan Bell referenced the courage and the skill of the two women and predicted they have a real future in the game. "For their families and for the club it's a great occasion," he said, noting that this was the second time in the year that All-Ireland players had been celebrated in the club. "The future is bright for Kilcullen GAA and you can see that here every night and every week when you come up to the ground and it's always packed with people."
Flower bouquets were presented to the mothers and grandmothers of the 'two Mollys', and there were small presentations to themselves by Dan Bell to mark the club's appreciation. Then it was photo opportunities time with many of the young girl members of the club, with lots of jersey-signing.
Earlier in the day the two Mollys had visited the schools in the parish with the cups and medals, receiving great welcomes as role models for future generations of Kilcullen GAA players.
