Book Club Social in Kilcullen

A reminder that an inaugural Book Club Social hosted jointly by Woodbine Books Kilcullen and Seanchaí Books Kildare will be held in Fallons of Kilcullen tomorrow, Tuesday 17 October, writes Brian Byrne.

Starting at 7.30pm, the event will celebrate Irish Book Week (14-21 October) and will feature special guest Miriam Mulcahy, author of bestselling memoir This Is My Sea. In addition to a discussion on her book and how she went about being published, the evening will also be about how to run a book club, and what makes a good book club book.

Tickets are €15, available at Eventbrite here, or from either Woodbine or Seanchaí, and include finger food and a glass of Prosecco for each participant. 

Whether in a book club, thinking of joining one, or just loving to talk about books, everyone is welcome.
