Equinox Cycle fundraiser tomorrow for Jeremy Burke foundation
A 24-hour cycle will be undertaken tomorrow, 24 September, by Joseph Kelly as a fundraiser in memory of his nephew Jeremy Burke, who died unexpectedly in February, writes Brian Byrne.
Joseph, who is a member of Naas Cycling Club, will try to cover as many kilometres as possible in his 'Equinox Cycle', using the 2018 National 24-hour TT Circuit located in South Kildare.
His attempt begins at sunrise, 7.16am, on a 'race against the sun', and those wishing to support him can contribute to a GoFundMe page here.
Money raised will go to the jbforever27 Foundation (www.jbforever27.com) which supports a number of affiliated charities: CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), AnamCara, and The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
