Busy week for South Kildare Shamrocks

Our U12 hurlers played Confey on Friday evening in Confey in a very hard-fought game that swung from end to end, writes Martin Sheridan of the South Kildare Shamrocks. The Shamrocks eventually came up short 2-3 to Confey 2-5, but a huge effort from all could be seen. 

In two weeks' time the Shamrocks will be playing Confey in the Championship. The lads are looking forward to that fixture. 

On Wednesday evening next, 6 September, the U14 hurlers are playing Ardclough in the quarter-final of the Championship. The match is in Kilcullen on the main pitch, with throw-in at 6.30pm. All support welcome. 

Our U16 hurlers are playing Maynooth next Sunday morning in Maynooth, also in the Championship, so it's a busy week for the Shamrocks.
