Musical Memoirs at the Moat
On Friday 8 September in the Moat Theatre, these wonderful young musicians will show you what it's like to dedicate your life to music by telling extraordinary stories about music and musicians, through the voice of their instruments.
Featuring international and national competition winning musicians who will bring you works by Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Schumann and many more. Works that were written for certain instruments will be explored on other instruments to convey a different voice and colour.
Soloists will be accompanied by Japanese-born Mari Sakata-Collins on piano. Join us on the 8th of September at 8pm to marvel in music you have never heard performed before, and might never hear again.
