Not to be, this time, for Shamrocks U12s

The South Kildare Shamrocks U12s came up against a very strong St Laurence's Team in the League Final in Rathangan on Friday, writes Martin Sheridan. That resulted in a final score of Shamrocks 1-2, St Laurence's 2-4.

In a very entertaining and close-fought encounter with lots of goal-mouth action, luck was unfortunately in scarce supply for the Shamrocks. But a great effort and lots of skill could be seen from all the lads. 

Hard luck, lads, we will get stronger as the summer progresses. Thanks to everyone involved. Keep the lads outdoors with the hurleys in their hands.
