Come Together this weekend to remember Corina Staunton

A reminder that this weekend sees a fundraising charity night in O'Connells Pub and a 5K Walk, in aid of cancer research and celebrating the life of the late Corina Staunton, writes Brian Byrne. Corina passed away in March after a short illness, and the 'Coming Together' events will be on Friday 21 July and Sunday the 23rd respectively.

The proceeds of both will go to the Cancer Care Research Trust. 

The night in O'Connells, kicking off at 8pm, will include a raffle for a 2-night stay in a premium hotel in Prague, including transfers and €100 towards flight costs. More than 20 other prizes, including laptops, are also on offer. An 80s-themed disco will keep the party hopping. A Golf Classic planned for earlier on the day has been well supported.

The sponsored walk on the following Sunday begins at 11am from Kilcullen Community Centre, and registration can be made using the QR code on posters around town, or click this link. A €10 donation covers T-Shirt, sponsorship card, insurance, and lots of fun on the day.
