Appleton's 20,000 daffs for decade on Main Street
Appleton Property is celebrating 10 years in business on Kilcullen's Main Street this August and is giving away 20,000 daffodils to all local residents associations to mark the occasion, writes Austin Egan MIPAV.
As a token of appreciation to all those who have supported our business, we want to provide any and all local residents groups with a significant quantity of Spring flowering daffodils. We cannot run our business without our customers. We never lose sight of the people we serve. We have a pending order of 20,000 Spring flowering daffodil bulbs and will allocate them proportionately to any residents association that wants to claim them. The only condition is that they are planted in their public areas.
We started our business from our kitchen table in 2010 and moved to Main Street Kilcullen in August 2013. We had a modest beginning in what were very hard times for everyone in the country. We battled through these times and with the support of those in our local community and hard work we have emerged over time as a leading professional service provider in the property area. We have sold and let hundreds of properties over these years and also manage a significant portfolio of rental properties for our clients over a wide area. We have also provided our valuation services for individuals, financial institutions and others over this timeframe throughout County Kildare.
We have had the privilege of providing our services to a broad range of people in many differing circumstances over this time. As an Auctioneer in a community such as Kilcullen we deal with a lot of delight as transactions close, on both sides of a deal. We also deal with less delightful circumstances such as probate situations, moves for health reasons, nursing home support scheme valuations, separation sales and other sales for legal purposes. We are always privileged to be entrusted with such important transactions and perform our duties in a highly ethical manner in the best interests of our clients on every occasion.
Daffodils mark the start of Spring and are a symbol of hope for the bright evenings ahead every year. They form a colourful backdrop with no maintenance once planted and return year on year. We hope this token of appreciation will bring some Spring cheer for years to come to all the areas in which we regularly conduct our business. If you represent a local community area or residents association, please get in touch with us. This is a significant quantity, literally a tonne of Spring bulbs and will involve some co-operation among residents to get them all in the ground this September. Once the hard work is done, they will return annually for many years to come.
Many thanks again to all our customers. We look forward to another great 10 years in our exceptional community — growing where we were planted, right here in Kilcullen.
