Kilcullen poets share top JuneFest prize

Kilcullen had two winners of the recent JuneFest 2023 Poetry Competition, writes Ilona Blunden.

Fiona Maher and John Martin, members of the Kilcullen Creative Writers Group, shared joint first prize for their entries in the competition. A super result for two very worthy winners!

Fiona and John were invited to read at the Easy Listening event that took place on Saturday 3rd June at Newbridge Town Hall. This JuneFest event featured readings from local creatives, including the winners of the Short Story Competition for Teens and the winners of the Poetry Competition.
