Murt Malone's latest book launch in Woodbine tonight
A launch of Kildare town writer Murt Malone's latest book, In the White Country, Novella & Stories, will be held in Woodbine's Books in Kilcullen this evening at 7pm, writes Brian Byrne.
Your editor will talk with Murt about the book, writing in general, and how his own life and serving as a UN peacekeeper in Iraq and Lebanon influenced his stories and novels, including The Broken Cedar, Valley of the Peacock Angel, Black Rose Days, and Iapetus, 81.
His play Rosanna Nightwalker — the Wren of The Curragh was performed in the Moat Theatre in 2011, and he has also written plays for radio.
