'Job offer my ticket out of long-term homelessness'

A young man in his 30s who is staying in Council-provided homeless accommodation in Johnstown urgently needs a cheap room to rent in Kilcullen so he can take up a job offer here, writes Brian Byrne.

David Latimer says that due to lack of transport, he has to move to Kilcullen to take the job next week. 

"I see this job as my ticket out of long-term homelessness and I can only see good coming from the offer," he told the Diary. "I'm willing to do anything to take the job, even if I can rent a place to pitch a tent."

David is single, and is not in a position to pay a deposit and first month rental, but is willing to pay weekly until he gets on his feet.
