Free online talk on Dún Ailinne this evening

A free online talk about 50 years of investigation of Dún Ailinne will be given this evening by Professor Pam Crabtree, who has worked on the royal site for much of that time, writes Brian Byrne.
Under the auspices of Tuatha, an organisation which provides resources for those who want to experience Ireland's landscapes and heritage, the talk begins at 7.30pm and will last an hour and 15 minutes.
There is a long history of excavation at Dún Ailinne, beginning with the excavations carried out by Professor Bernard Wailes in the 1960s and 1970s and continuing to the present.
Information and joining this evening's event can be accessed at Eventbrite here
NOTE: Dún Ailinne is on private land and is not open to the public.
