Every Step Counts and GAA Lights Up walks ending this week

With just three days to go, Kilcullen GAA is at 6th place in Leinster in the MyLife Every Step Counts challenge, thanks to 192 registered walkers who as of yesterday evening had totalled 31,092km, writes Liam Cronin.

The challenge closes at the end of the day on Wednesday 15 February and the club is asking for one final push to top 35,000km.

Last Monday night Brenda Donoghue led 30 walkers around Kilcullen in the Kilcullen GAA Lights Up series, and the final walk is tonight 13 February 8pm at the training pitch across from the astro pitch. 

Free water will be provided by Ballygowan and High Viz vests for all walkers. The weather forecast is good, so hopefully a good attendance to close out the walk series in style.
