Albert does tasty blockwork

We all know Albert Keenan as a dab hand with a digger, and also no mean runner with a goodly number of medals for his athletics passion, writes Brian Byrne.

But there's more to his skills ... his block-laying in building the piers for the new gate at Teach na nDaoine is as tasty a piece of work as the Diary has seen.

We figured we should photograph it because once the piers are plastered, the quality won't be visible. But we'll know it's there.
