Kilcullen ladies celebrate Nollaig na mBan

A full house of Kilcullen women  are celebrating Nollaig na mBan in Fallons this evening, literally in high style, writes Brian Byrne.

Organised by Michelle Reddy and Paula Phelan and put together with a willing and enthusiastic cohort of their friends, the 'celebration of Kilcullen women' is featuring a fashion show courtesy of Shirley Kavanagh Hallion's Secret Kloset, hair care demonstrations by Deirdre Keogh of Headrush Salon, and health and nutrition tips from Michelle herself under her recently-formed Ma Belle Nutrition & Health business. There's also food, and music to finish the evening.

"We could have sold the 100 tickets three times over," Michelle told the Diary when we got there to take a few early pictures before everybody settled in. We couldn't stay to catch everyone, but as we post these, we're very sure things in Fallons back room are really swinging. Our pictures below give a flavour of the event.

Proceeds from the evening go to Kilcullen Community Action.
