Bus service mooted between Brannockstown and Kilcullen

Feedback on the potential use of a bus service from Brannockstown to Kilcullen on Fridays is being requested by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer, writes Brian Byrne.

The councillor has been working on the possibility of such a service being established to facilitate people who want to go in to Kilcullen to shop on Fridays.

"I believe all our rural towns and villages should have access to public transport and this pilot could be the start for our community," she says. "Initially the proposed pilot route would only operate on a Friday morning but if the service is well used and a greater need is demonstrated it would help make a case for a more frequent service."
