Maintain Hope's Christmas Party for children

We are currently enjoying the Maintain Hope Christmas Party, writes the charity's founder Gerry O'Donoghue from Kenya. Swimming, chicken and chips, a soda and later we will share a cake to celebrate the children’s birthdays of 2022.

We managed to gather most of our families together for this simple but happy celebration of our 72 children. The temperature here is 32 degrees. Not the Christmas weather I am used to but perfect for swimming.

All our children are safe and well and enjoying their break from school. We have been busy finding school places and internships for the older students and we are all set for the new school year which begins in January.

Our thanks and greetings to all who support us. We can only do this work because of their kindness. There is always hope.
