Kilcullen Drama Group For Better, for Worse

Picking up from where their last production of a Jimmy Keary play left off, Kilcullen Drama Group is presenting 'For Better, for Worse', opening on Tuesday 22 November and playing six nights, writes Brian Byrne.
A great night's entertainment is promised in this three-act comedy set around Gabriel Foley, the recently married son of Aggie. Himself and his new wife Chrissie have not gotten off to the best start due to lots of interfering neighbours, the in-laws and Miriam the man-eater.
Mix in two gossiping widows and a counsellor who needs counselling himself and the result is predictable — side splitting moments and chases around the now notorious couch in Gabriel and Chrissie's home.
The usual invitation preview will be on Monday 21st, and public performance nights are November 22, 23, 25 (Gala Night) and December 1, 2 and 3. Tickets available through Berney’s Chemist 045 481497.
