Two Mile House heritage walk tomorrow

A reminder that the first Family Walk organised by the Two Mile House Biodiversity & Heritage Group is tomorrow, Sunday 23 October, starting off at 12.30pm from the TMH GAA Club, writes Brian Byrne.
The 4.5km ramble will finish at the old Harristown Station, from where a free minibus return to the clubhouse will be available. Light refreshments will be provided there.
The speakers with the walk will be John O'Brien and Jesmond Harding, and the route will highlight a number of local points of interest, including Harristown Commons, Dunshane Camphill, Harristown Castle, Harristown House along with the associated motte and ornamental canal.
A number of future walks and talks are proposed, including Two Mile House village and environs, St James's Church and graveyard at Coughlinstown, Harristown House, St Patrick's Church of Ireland at Carnalway, Mullacash, Mullaboden Lodge, and the Liffey Railway Bridge.
