Accessible parking space at An Tearmann 'unlikely'

A dedicated accessible parking space in front of An Tearmann looks unlikely, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllr Tracey O’Dwyer had put a motion on the agenda of the recent meeting of Kildare-Newbridge MD for consideration of the space, to facilitate those dropping off and collection of service users of the Bridge Camphill Community, and also less mobile visitors to the Farm & Nature Trail.

But the Council’s report said the possibility is ‘unlikely’ at the location due to the existing road width.

However, the Roads Design department will review the location as part of the Kilcullen Parking Bye Laws.
