Shamrocks U12s to hurl in Tipp on Saturday

The South Kildare Shamrocks U12 Hurling team are heading to Tipperary this Saturday to compete in the annual Paddy Cooney Tournament, writes Brian Byrne.
The memorial event is hosted by Moycarkey-Borris, and the Shamrocks will be lining out against that club's A team at 9.45am for a 25-minutes encounter.
They will play Knockaville Kickhams A squad at 10.20am, and the top two teams in the group will face off in a final at 11.30am.
Over 90 players will be participating in the tournament through the morning, including the South Kildare Shamrocks which is an amalgamation of players from Athgarvan, Two Mile House and Kilcullen.
