Junior World Darts contender with Kilcullen connection

There's a strong Kilcullen connection to the Junior Darts Corporation World Darts Championships being held in Gibraltar at the end of November.

Jack Courtney, a grandson of the late Dan Byrne, will be among 128 players from 16 nations competing in the event, from which the competition finalists will go to the PDC World Darts Championship taking place at the Alexandra Palace in London in December.

Jack is a member of the Carlow Youths Darts team and has been playing from a young age. This next phase in Jack's darting career is further proof that all the years of hard work, practice and dedication is worthwhile.
