'Grease' on the CPC boards

The saga of Sandy and Danny comes again to front and centre stage in Cross and Passion College next week as the annual TY musical hits the boards, writes Brian Byrne.

This evergreen story about teens in love in the 1950s, Grease has been on the boards since almost forever (well, 1971 when it was first staged in a Chicago nightclub) and went global with the screen adaptation starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

A staple of the CPC musicals repertoire, the story continues from Tuesday 11 March for just three nights with Zoe Moran as Sandy and Sean Plunkett playing Danny. Usually a sellout, enquiries for tickets at 045 481524.
