Call for accessible parking space at An Tearmann

Kildare County Council is being asked to consider putting a marked blue accessible parking space in front of An Tearmann, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer has a motion on the agenda of the next meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge MD asking for the facility, to enable service users being dropped off and picked up.

The space would also be useful for less mobile visitors to the gardens and nature trail when they open to the public again.

The trail and the cafe have been closed to the public since the onset of the pandemic.
