Council questioned on Bishop Rogan estate lighting

Kildare County Council is being asked for an update on plans to install two new street lights in Bishop Rogan estate.

The matter is on the agenda of the next meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge MD, in the form of a question from Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer.

The works were match funded through the Local Property Tax last year, following a request for an audit of the estate area to consider dealing with a number of blackspots.

There was no indication of a time-frame for the work, depending on funds becoming available and where any site is on the priority list.
