Children raise €100 for Vincents
Children from Laurel Woods, Naas Rd and Hillside ran bake and loom band jewellery sales for the last couple of weeks of the summer holidays and all the proceeds — €100 — went to the Vincents charity shop, writes Lisa Evers. The idea was all their own from start to finish.
They cooked buns and made loom band jewellery and set up the stalls and sold their wares in Laurel Woods and Hillside Estates.
We called into the charity shop yesterday and the ladies there were amazed and delighted at the donation.
