Oral History course opportunity

An Oral History training course from late September will teach interview preparation, research, ethics, consent, technical and interview skills. 

Organised by Kildare Library Service and Kildare County Council Heritage Department, participants in the course can develop the skills of an oral historian through a seven-week training programme delivered by Dr Tomás Mac Conmara.

The programme is funded by Creative Ireland, and will be hybrid in-person and online over six weeks on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm, beginning on 27 September. The first session will be held in person.
