Ever heard of Kittymount?

Photo: Historic Graves.

A request for information on a former parish priest of Kilcullen, Fr Nicholas Phepoe, or Phoepoe, has come in from Gerry O'Donoghue, writes Brian Byrne.
Fr Phepoe served in Kilcullen until his death on 12 June 1799, and he is buried in New Abbey Graveyard. Historically he is referenced as having negotiated the surrender of the Kilcullen rebels in 1798 to General Dundas.
The priest was a member of the Phoepoe family in Ladytown, where the family home was Taghadoe House.
Gerry's query is related to one reference to Fr Phepoe's death, noting that he passed away in 'Kittymount, Co Kildare'.
Research so far has failed to find a placename or townland in the county called Kittymount — if anyone has any knowledge, Gerry would be grateful to hear it.

UPDATE: And we already have an answer, courtesy of Geraldine Nugent. Kittymount is also known as Knockbounce, or Knockbunce, which she found in transcripts of memorials of deeds, conveyances and wills from 1818. So it would seem that Fr Phepoe resided in Knockbounce at the time of his death.
