KCA to sweep Main Street pavements shortly

The mechanical sweeper which was purchased some time ago by Kilcullen Community Action will be used in the coming weeks to clean the pavements on Main Street, writes Brian Byrne.

At the recent KCA AGM, Ray Kelly said a number of test sweeps had been undertaken on outlying areas, and Main Street would soon be addressed.

He said the work will have to be carried out either early in the morning or late at night, so as not to inconvenience pedestrians and businesses.
