Lauren's locks and the big cut

With over €1,400 on the iDonate page and more in collection boxes, 11-year-old Lauren Boyle had the big cut to her hair this morning in aid of LauraLynn, writes Brian Byrne.

She was there with family and friends, including her grandparents Anne and Eamonn Burke, and her mother Elaine.

The actual cutting didn't take long, but there was going to be some tidying to be done, and later the dying purple. We'll have a photo of that last in due course.

Meantime, a big cheer from all who had supported her in this initiative. The iDonate page remains open until 1 May.
