Canoe Club Ukraine fundraiser gathers more than €15,000

The total raised in the Kilcullen Canoe Club Paddle 4 Ukraine challenge totalled more than €15,000.

With participation in the challenge by other canoe clubs, over 1,900km was paddled, more than double the length of the Dnipro River in Ukraine and twice the target.

The raffle part of the event took place at the clubhouse yesterday with ECSKC Sea Kayak Club Member Alex Yarmoshko from the Ukraine present as guest of honour.
