Councillor seeks information on EV charging plans

Kildare County Council is being asked to confirm any plans for installing electric charging points at key locations in the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer has a question on the matter on the agenda for the February meeting of the MD, scheduled for the 16th of the month.

The councillor specifies Kilcullen, Athgarvan and Two Mile House as examples of such locations. She says they are necessary to cater for visitors and tourists requiring access to e-charging points.
