On this day in 1942, Nazi Adolf Eichmann presented a list of estimated numbers of Jewish people in European countries to the notorious Wannsee Conference in Berlin, called to organise the so-called 'Final Solution'. Ireland was on that list with an estimate of 4,000 out of the total 11 million.
