Local business supports Scoil Bhride

A cheque for €1,000 was recently presented by Dowling Property to Scoil Bhride, in support for the school’s Christmas Fair organised by the Parents Association, writes Brian Byrne.
Although the 2021 Fair didn’t actually take place owing to the pre-Christmas imposition of Covid restrictions, John Dowling says they were ‘happy to help out’ in particular in these difficult times, and he committed future support for the event.
“We were delighted to come on board and show our support for the school now and into the future,” he told the Diary. “A lot of hard work goes into fundraising by the Parents Association.” Citing his own experiences as a pupil of the school ‘many, many years ago’, he described it as a fabulous school with a fabulous reputation.
