The first Diary snowman of 2022

Your editor's grand-daughter Ellen gathered enough snow outside their home in North Kildare this morning to make the first Diary snowman of 2022.

OK, he's small. But he's the first ... and quite perfect.

Literally a 'sweet' creation, he's sitting on the very appropriate Christmas mat outside their door.
