Lights inspection for Bishop Rogan Park
A public lights audit is to be carried out at the Bishop Rogan Park estate in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.
This is at the request of Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer, who brought up the matter at today's meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District.
The councillor referred to 'a few blackspots' in the estate, and especially one in a space where there are steps up to the nearby houses without illumination.
Officials agreed to have the site visited and assessed for inclusion in the Kildare Lighting Infrastructure Priority Schedule (KLIPS). There was no indication of a time-frame for the work, depending on funds becoming available and where any site is on the priority list.
