The passing of Nora Domican

The death has occurred of Honora (Nora) Domican (nee Lyne) of Clonbrock, Crettyard, Co Laois and formerly of Conroy Park, Kilcullen, Co Kildare and Anablaha, Co Kerry.

Nora passed away peacefully in the company of her loving family, on 25 July, 2026, under the loving care of the nurses and staff of Signacare Nursing Home, Killerig, Carlow.

Beloved wife of the late Edward, much loved mother of Theresa and adored grandmother of Dylan, Eve and Emma, Nora will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

She will repose at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) on Tuesday 28 July, from 4pm, with removal from there that evening at 5.45pm to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am followed by burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.
