Waiting on word from KAG

Kilcullen Community Action says 'nothing has been heard' from the newly-formed Kilcullen Access group as to whether some of KCA's decorative tubs are 'in the way' for people with disability.

At the recent KCA meeting, chairman Kieran Forde said that if the Access Group says there is a real problem, 'we will have to look into it'.

He said the problem seems to be mainly to do with the partially sighted.

Esther Kiely also wondered if any of the cobble-lock footpaths had pieces out of line that might be dangerous.

The KAG recently conducted an accessibility audit of part of Kilcullen, with the help of ASK.
