Irish Water says it will meet Tracey on Kilcullen issues

A representative of Irish Water is to meet with Kilcullen-based Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer to discuss ongoing issues about the town's water supply, writes Brian Byrne.

This follows the latest email from the councillor to IW seeking a meeting with a member of the company's team responsible for this area.

Tracey has been seeking such a meeting for some time without success. She recently enlisted the aid of MEP Colm Markey in her efforts. Yesterday she received a call from the company saying a representative will meet her 'in the coming weeks'.

Coincidentally, in the Kildare Nationalist published yesterday, the Kilcullen water issue is the lead story.

"Hopefully this meeting will bring clarity to the many concerns that residents have and maybe even clarity to our water!" the councillor posted last evening.
