Pet Blessing Service returns
The annual Pet Blessing Service in support of the Kildare West Wicklow SPCA will take place on Saturday 2 October in Celbridge.
The event, being held outdoors due to coronavirus, will be in the Slip Hall at Castletown gates, alongside Christ Church (C of I), from 3pm. The Offering at the service will go to KWWSPCA's work. Refreshments will be available for all pets.
Anyone who can't bring their pet for any reason can bring a photo (unframed) which will be placed on a display board and the pet will be included in the blessing prayers. This facility is also available for people who want their deceased pets to be remembered.
In the interests of safety it is requested that all dogs be kept on a lead and smaller animals in appropriate pet carriers to prevent escape or distress to some pets who may be nervous in the company of a large number of other pets.
