Man found in river is identified

The identity of the man whose body was found in the Liffey at Kilcullen yesterday has been established, writes Brian Byrne.

Following the appeal from Gardai posted on the Diary, members of his family became concerned and contacted Kilcullen Garda Station this afternoon. They confirmed his identity.

It is understood that he is from the Suncroft area.
