Credit Union caps savings lodgements

Kildare Credit Union has introduced a monthly cap on savings lodgements of €3,000 per member per month from 1 July.

The Board of Directors made the decision in order to maintain the strong reserves position of the Credit Union.

It was made necessary because of rapid growth in member savings over the past year combined with a low demand for loans.
