Ballyshannon Action public meeting this evening
A reminder that the Ballyshannon Action Group is holding a public meeting this evening, 16 July, writes Brian Byrne.
It will be at Ballyshannon National School, behind the playground, starting at 7pm.
Everyone with an interest in the Racefield issue is invited to go along. It's understood the meeting will update local people on the campaign's position following the recent decision by An Bord Pleanala, overturning Kildare County Council's refusal to grant planning permission to Kilsaran for a quarry at Racefield.
Public health advice will be adhered to and the event will stay socially distant.
The meeting will give everyone a chance to speak to the Group's planning experts and to public representatives, and to ask any questions.
