Our picture shows Sam Steed finishing 3rd in Corkagh Park recently, writes Liam Walker. This was Sam's first ever race and as you can see from the photo he only got the verdict by half a wheel.

Oisin Collins was 3rd last night in Mondello. The U/16 race was a close fought affair with Oisin making  the race long break but missed two riders going clear in the late stages of the race. He won the sprint for 3rd place from the remainder of the break.

In the U14 race Shane Whelan was again the winner with Conor Regan 3rd. Again the Murphy Geospatial riders were at the head of the race and both riders had a hard sprint to gain their placings.
