Another Light Up the Bridge for Pieta House
The Dawn Walk fundraiser for Pieta House is again cancelled for this year due to Covid, writes Brian Byrne.
Instead, similar to last year, the organisers are planning to Light Up the Bridge, from Friday-Sunday 2-4 July.
Candles will be available for sale nearer to the date of the event. In the meantime, anyone who wants sponsorship cards can get them from Lorna Brophy and Richie Kelly.
Last July, more than 500 people placed candles on the bridge in a similar event.
