Love trees? CPC has a competition for you

A competition for the best tree photographs in the area is being run by students at Cross and Passion College, writes Brian Byrne.

The contest is organised by the College's Woodwork Department as part of a celebration of National Tree Week.

There are three prize categories — for Primary School students, for students of CPC, and for Staff and Parents/Guardians.

Participants simply have to select a tree, take a picture of it, pick the appropriate category, and send it to the College with details of the type of tree, its location, and why the photographer loves it.

The closing date is Friday 26 March, and winners will be announced on CPC's Facebook and Twitter feeds.

National Tree Week is 21-27 March.
